Ii Week!

Hello all- our week was incredible!  We had so much going on everyday- from painting headbands to t-shirts to place mats and more!  We have been busy bees!  Our special snack this week was ice cream with syrup and sprinkles.
For science we learned more about liquids and solids.  Mrs. Kaiser made a "boat" out of ice.  She placed it in a pan of water and let the kids watch it melt while it turned back into a liquid.  We learned that the freezing point of water is 32 degrees Fahrenheit.  Thanks so much Mrs. Kaiser!
In addition to our Thanksgiving Feast prep we learned about the letter Ii.  We practiced writing it on our white boards and also with Wikki Stix.  Please work with your child on the sound that I makes (both sounds please).  Also, ask your child what our Bible verse is- they definitely have it memorized!  "Oh, give thanks to the Lord for He is good!"  Chronicles 16:34- AMEN!!
Please bring in your item for the feast on TUESDAY morning!  I promise to do a blog post on Tuesday night so you can see how adorable they all are with their Indian name headbands, place mats and t-shirts that they painted.  Enjoy the pictures and I wish everyone a HAPPY THANKSGIVING- I AM SO THANKFUL FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOUR CHILDREN!!!  THEY ARE WONDERFUL AND I AM SO BLESSED TO BE THEIR TEACHER.
