REVIEW WEEK

Hello everyone!  Well, this post didn't get done on Friday like I had hoped, but Sunday is better than never, right?!

Our week was full of J projects, since our official J week back in December was full of play practices and Christmas projects.  As you will see in the pictures below, we learned a lot about jellyfish, and even had a Jello snack and experiment!

The kids had a blast looking at one of God's most unusual creatures- the jellyfish.  They can be all different colors, shapes and some are more poisonous than others.  Did you know that jellyfish do not have aheart, eyes, bones or blood?  They are made of "jelly", a stomach, a mouth and tentacles.  We had many books about jellyfish for the kids to read, and they really enjoyed looking at them.

For our Jello experiment we learned what happens when we mix blue jello and red jello together.  The kids guesses were purple, pink, black and blue.  Once we squished and mixed we found the correct answer was purple!  Then we had fresh Jello for snack, with some Cool Whip on top!

This week we will be studying the letter W.  We will learn about whales, walruses and don't forget about WACKY WEDNESDAY!!!!  Send your child to school dressed as silly and wacky as their imaginations can make them!    I can't wait to take pictures of them!

Have a great Sunday!
