Rr Week!

What a rockin' week we had!  We made watercolor rabbits, chocolate rabbits, rainbows and learned about rocks!  The kids had a blast during science, and Mrs. Kaiser brought in lots of examples of rocks, and even showed them how different rocks can look on the inside than the outside!  She also did an experiment to show which rocks float and which rocks sink.  We discovered pumice floats, because it has lots of air bubbles in it!  I think the highlight of the week was making our "pet rocks."  The kids had a blast decorating their houses and painting the rocks.  Hope you enjoy them at home!
I hope the letter with all the dates on it was clear enough.  I'm sorry for any trouble the change in next week's date may have caused.  I also had an error, which I'm sure you all caught.  I said that we have next Thursday and Friday off, which is true, except I called it May 5th and 6th, instead of April 5th and 6th.  My apologies!
Picture day was also a success, and you should be so excited to see the smiles on your children's faces when you get the proofs back!  They looked so sweet in their graduation gowns too (sniff, sniff).
For chapel this week we learned about Palm Sunday.  People lined the streets shouting "Hosanna!"  "Hosanna!"  while Jesus rode through on a donkey.  We learned some fun songs to go along with the lesson, which we will continue reviewing next week.
Next week is only 3 days.  On Tuesday we will have pizza for lunch- if you are able, please send in $2-3 to help pay for the pizza.  On Wednesday we will have our Family Picnic.  Please sign your child out at 12pm and proceed outside for the picnic!  Don't forget your food and a blanket!  Enjoy Thursday and Friday off with your families.
Have a super weekend!
