One piece of housekeeping- please give your child's cubby a quick look to be sure he/she has a change of clothes. It's very important- you never know when a cup of juice will be spilled!
Okay on to the fun stuff- for Science this week we learned about liquid! We learned that liquid takes the shape of whatever container it is in- it's always changing! Mrs. Kaiser made a lava lamp and also liquid layers! Thanks so much Mrs. Kaiser- you are so wonderful!
We also made ladybugs, lambs, and wrote some love letters that you will see soon. We learned about Groundhog Day- we made predictions about whether or not Punxsutawny Phil would see his shadow, and also did a quick shadow craft that I'm sure you've all seen on our door! We introduced the blend /sh/ and have discussed more words that start with sh.
Coming up this month we have our Valentine's Day party, our field trip to the library (on the 16th), our 100th Day of School Party (on the 17th) and no school on Monday the 2oth.
Enjoy the pictures! Have a super weekend!
